S'mores and Fun in St. George

While we were in Las Vegas this past Summer, me and the kids took the opportunity to spend some time with my Mom "Nana Jan" and my sister "Aunt Sadie".
So about once a month we would pack up and say good-bye to Daddy
(he didn't like the arrangement much)
and go spend the week at Aunt Sadie's house.

Hayden had been begging and begging all Winter to go camping and make s'mores.
Well, we were finally were it was warm(er),
and Aunt Sadie planned to make Hayden's dreams come true.
She got all the makings for s'mores and we went down to the little fishing pond near her house.

When we got there we were gathering sticks for a fire.
Pretty sure that was Carter's favorite part.

Then we got roasting.
At first we tried teaching the kids to do it,
but after a few marshmallows ended up in the ashes we decided to take over.

Before I could make him a s'more or stop him, this little stinker pulled the mallow right off the roasting stick and shoved it right in his mouth.  I guess he's lucky it didn't burn him.
So I gave the other one to Hayden, and got to work on the real s'mores.

Nana Jan showing Hayden how it's done.
1st taste.
A little sticky

Devouring the masterpeices with Nana Jan.
It didn't take Carter long to realize he was the only boy in a a group of girls,
so he ditched us to go climb some boulders.

We called this his "Ariel" pose.
"Ahhhhh . . .ahhhh . . . ahhhhh"

Earlier in the Summer at the "Relay for Life" I had won some passes to Festia Family Fun Center.
So we took the kids over for a fun filled afternoon.
They got to ride the bumper cars.

With a little help of course.

Cute girls and best buddies.
Silly faces.
Bumper boats
Throwing a tantrum because he was too short to ride the bumper boats.

I can already see them crusin' around together in about 13 more years.
Yikes! Trouble.
