I wish I had a picture to add to this post,
because it would be the cutest picture I could post of Hayden,
but given the situation I of course don't have one,
but I had to share this cute experience none the less.
So ever since Hayden was just a newborn I have insisted that our family prayers and scripture study every morning include her.
I think Ryan probably thought I was crazy,
being that most mornings scripture study is a lot less study than it used to be and a lot more of one person reading while the other corals Hayden trying to get her to sit still.
But it was important to me to include her and show her that this is what our family does every morning
(you never know when they will start to notice and learn these things.)
Well yesterday it paid off.
We were sitting down to dinner
(Hayden was already in her high chair munching on her veggies).
And I said the blessing on the food.
When we looked up from the prayer,
we saw our little 11 month old Hayden sitting quietly with her arms folded.
It was so stinkin cute!
and I had never seen her fold her arms like this,
and I couldn't believe that at this little she was doing this,
so I thought well maybe it is just a coincidence.
But then this morning during family prayer,
I snuck a little peak at her in the middle of the prayer,
and I saw her work for a second to get her arms just right
and then she sat there and kept them folded for the prayer.
I couldn't believe it!
She is getting so big,
before we know it she will be able to help say the pray,
and I can't wait for that day.
I love being a mom to such a cute, smart little lady.

How cute! You just wait until she starts repeating what you are saying in the prayer, it will melt your heart.
It's no wonder she's so smart and has that all figured out if you have been including her for her whole life! :) You guys are good parents :)
