We decided to check out the local Zoo here in Lansing before Ryan started school.
It is tucked away inside a big nice park.
It is so green and beautiful inside and outside the zoo.

Isn't she so stinkin' cute. She just melts my heart every day.
Hayden loved the spider monkeys, and they seemed to like her too.
She loved all the birds at the zoo, but her favorite appeared to be the big Ostrich.
She enjoyed the petting zoo.
Until they got to the goats.
They kept trying to eat her shirt, and she didn't like that very much.
Hayden with the camel, maybe when she is bigger she can go for a ride.
We had such a fun day at the zoo.
It is small, but has all the good stuff,
which makes it perfect to take a 1 year old to.
